    SKB pidió a Itasca que aplique un modelo universal de fracturamiento (UFM) en el sitio de Äspö para estimar su consistencia con los datos estructurales e hidráulicos. El marco de modelamiento UFM (detallado en Davy et al., (2010, 2013)) se utiliza para evaluar los parámetros de fracturamiento y mejorar los modelos de DFN utilizando datos de profundidad.
