Mr. Casas is a Geologist with 14 years of experience in geotechnics in underground mining and open pit, specializing in geotechnical characterization and modeling. He has played the role of Technical Leader in data capture campaigns and geotechnical routine equipment, Contract Manager of support services, Project Manager of multidisciplinary teams in medium and small projects.
The Fifth International Itasca Symposium will be held at the University of Vienna (Austria). The Symposium will features the application of Itasca software for solving engineering and scientific challenges in geomechanics, hydrogeology, microseismicity, and more.
Ms. Soto has worked as a geotechnical geologist for more than 7 years. Her experience includes the development of rock mass models, structural models (3D fault model and structural domains definition), geotechnical model, rock and soil mechanics laboratory and QAQC of geotechnical processes.
